Your privacy, in plain words.
BingeSeason is a story app for adult readers, coming soon. This policy covers this website and our waitlist. The app will have its own privacy policy when it opens.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Basic visit statistics: which pages are viewed, the site that sent you, your country and the kind of device. These are counted without cookies and are not used to identify you.
- Technical data such as your IP address, which our hosting provider handles to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To send you one email to confirm your sign-up, then to tell you when BingeSeason opens, plus the occasional sneak peek.
- To see which pages work, so we can improve the site.
Our emails may tell us whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can send fewer, better emails.
Who receives it
Only the companies that run this site for us: our email service provider, which stores the waitlist and sends our emails, and our hosting and analytics provider. Each one acts on our behalf under its data agreement.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we have no ads.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we keep only a record that the address opted out, so we never email it again.
Your choices
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to hello@bingeseason.com with "Privacy" in the subject, and we will reply within 30 days.
- If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent to email you and on our legitimate interest to keep basic statistics and keep the site secure. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Adults only
BingeSeason is made for adult readers (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you across other websites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Where your data is processed
Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries, with safeguards required by law.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we also email the waitlist.
